What transport can NDIS funding cover?

Does NDIS pay for taxis or Uber?
In some circumstances, NDIS funding may contribute to transport costs when a participant cannot reasonably use public transport because of their disability.
However, not every taxi, Uber or rideshare trip is automatically covered by the NDIS. The transport needs to relate to your disability and your approved supports.
Can an NDIS support worker drive me?
Depending on the service arrangement and your plan, a support worker may provide transport as part of your support. For example, they may drive you to:

Does NDIS pay for my car?

What if I can’t use public transport?
